I would have been, but since I looked and they were all associated with political parties, it turned me right off. So no
I think more than 50 will turn out to vote in Bedfordshire as one of the candidates is co-founder of the EDL. I think a lot will turn out to make sure he doesn't get in and a few will vote to try and get him in
That ruined it for me too. Openly being associated with a political party like they are has made it a political vote rather than one about policing. My choices in North Yorkshire are a Labour or a Tory, it will be a landslide for the Tory Boy (girl actually, they both are). Can't be bothered with it.
One of our candidates isn't even eligible if he wins He's said he's pulling out but he's not allowed to withdraw so if he wins we'll have to have a by-election. http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-northamptonshire-20165939
Re: One of our candidates isn't even eligible if he wins Personally I don't believe that theft is a minor offence for an adult to commit but that's just me.
West Yorkshire police - LoL. Have you seen Red Riding?????? If I thought I could elect someone who could make the Police accountable I'd vote, but lets face it, it ain't going to happen.
Just filled my postal vote in. I completely disagree with this politicisation of the police. Like Nezbfc I was disappointed they were all associated with political parties. It was purely a process of elimination as to who i voted for - any idea why we have to vote for a 2nd candidate as well?
Is that the one where Sean 'Blunt' Bean was a baddie ? Yes he sums up the Pontefract & Castelford police force superbly
