Does anyone else notice on FM08

    its pretty much impossible to score from a corner, everytime i do its gets given as a free kick, so annoying!

    its not that, its both teams who ever scores a corner its always disallowed for a push by the ref or the assisstant flagging, very rare theres a corner counted

    update to 8.02 patch. it's 100x better on that - both the game and the corner situation. Dead easy to do.

    What I've noticed is...

    I dominate nearly every game but still lose most of them even though I have better strikers.

    Yet never when you're second best you still lose.

    Yellow & Red Cards

    I finished 1 season with 137 yellows & 13 reds.

    Then the next season i had 4 sent off in the 1st 4 games including 1 player in the 1st & 3rd games

    You have to organise your corners...

    Set all your corners to be delivered into the 6 yard box, and check who your four best headers are. Then:
    - Put one of them on Attack near post.
    - Put one of them on Near post flick on.
    - Put one of them on Attack far post.
    - Put one of them on Stand on far post.

    Had loads of success, Jamie Carragher scored 8 goals for me last season for Liverpool from corners.

    plus ive noticed on patch 8.0.2 its nie on imposs to win away from home

    There's a bit of a cheat on the 8.02 patch for corners. Best header to challenge GK and set corners to 6 yrd box. Need a few other settings to make this a cheat but this should solve getting no joy from corners.

    Very hard away from home on 8.02 tis true.

    I installed mine again on new laptop other day played in for a few hours turned compujter off, went to go on it today cant find icon to click it on. any ideas?

    I just downloaded that patch today, started as Barnsley and it says Marciano van Homoet is my best player! What's all that about?! (chinny)

    yeah its says that on mine too. im at the start of my 3rd season with
    barnsley and i didnt keep a player who was originaly with us, sold them all after the 1st season,

    altho suza nyatanga and muller arnt too bad, but the rest shte

    I bought it on the day of release and in all that time i've only had one good game on it! Usually flirt with relegation or get sacked in 1st season but one time managed to go up via play offs in 2nd season! Hoping this patch sorts summat out cos I've always done pretty well on previous versions!

    Scout Reports Are Abit ****

    I asked for a scout report on Kayode & it said if he signed he'd be the 3rd best striker at the club. But it doesnt tell you who are better than him

    You just have to do coach reports on your own players, it tells you the pecking order (Y)

    on this one i took kettering all the way to the prem, took me ages, then the bloody saved game wouldnt load one day,fuming wasnt the word,
