Does anyone have any good restaurant recommendations?

    Bearing in mind, I've pretty much exhausted all options in Barnsley and Wakefield (but if anyone has had any good experiences, please feel free to throw them forward, I may not have had the pleasure) so Leeds, Sheffield et al are both viable destinations.

    I need a good, classy place to take the missus for her birthday next weekend. Price is not a problem, so once again, if you've had any good eating experiences/nights out, please let me know.

    If you like chinese food Eastern Court Restaurant at Castleford is excellent and if you book for the Al a Carte more than 24Hrs in advance then all meals are half price (Between Mondays & Thursdays)

    Thoroughly enjoyed it.

    What's Jongleurs like? I've heard some mixed review. I suppose it all depends which acts are on...

    Looks pretty good. I see that they have 'shows' on some nights. Does anything happen on a Saturday night?

    Nothing much else round there, ie comedy clubs etc, but solely as a restaurant, it's tough to top.

    Very classy, food is superb.

    Also Anthony's is great. Try the sampler menu, the belly pork in squid ink sauce is to die for!
