The West Stand- I love it, needs a preservation order.

Much nicer than all the tubular steel stuff that's gone up in recent years.

    I does - I might start a campaign.

The last little bit of the real Oakwell.

I'm going to get it listed so it can't be knocked darn.

Remember when it was smartest stand, seats and everything, promotion winning side throwing shirts etc from "directors box".

It cannot ever be pulled down.

Wuzbrer Send me an e mail address, I can send you pic of Oakwell taken about 1955. You can then print it off at the size you need

    RE: That photograph

Whilst on the subject of photographs, does anyone have any pics from the Wembley match or the Bradford 1997 game? The sort of stuff i'm after are of the Reds' fans celebrating, flag-waving - that sort of stuff?

    West Stand has character

other stands are a bit like lego land. Rather be a West Stander than an Eaststander!
