I'm thinking about opening a subway (not in Barnsley) - does anyone know how much an average one makes?

Not sure how much they make, but I do know from a mate who looked into it - you need to raise about £200k to open a Subway.

    Depends

on how many lines you put in and what other public transport is available.

Seriously though, why not just open your own independent sandwich shop where you can set the menu, price, decor and source your own ingredients? Surely the last thing the world needs is another clone doling out calorie, sugar and fat packed sandwiches. Trouble is, would the brand sheep come to a name they don't recognise?
