Does anyone know any bookies who will give odds on Barnsley NOT being relegated?

If we are favourites for relegation then surely we should be about 10/1 to not go down at least?

nah, probably about 2/1 I would expect.

Best thing to do is have a spread bet on us.

We will probably start on 55ish points and if you have say 20 quid on each point then finish on 60 = £100, 65 = £200 etc.

Risk is that if we have a terrible season you run the risk of losing money. Eg 50 points, you lose £100

betfair will allow you to lay against relegation

I can never be arsched making bets that take so long to "mature" though.

You match bets with other users. For each market you will be shown what the best price other users have offered for you to back or lay against (plus the amount available at that price). You can take people up on these offers and match their bets or you can offer prices of your own. But unless somebody matches your bet though, no bet is made. You can often get better prices using betfair. There is a "just-for-fun" section where you bet with pretend money so you can play around with the system.
