We have a lot of videos of the kids growing up which we can't show to embarrass them with their girlfriend/ boyfriend.;)

    Thanks

It might be cheaper to buy a vhs/dvd recorder and do it yourself than pay someone to do it.

As a victim of such hilarious actions only a few short weeks ago I'd just say think of the kids feelings before you do it - and then get it done because its bloody funny.

I was stitched up by my own sister and mrs who edited together a slideshow of photos from the early 70's glam rock through to my punk stage (with appropriate music in the background), and various videos from the 80's & 90's from family gatherings, holidays and my football playing days. Christ, some of those shorts were small

And that "trendy" mop of bleached hair has been replaced for a more aerodynamic style these days lol.

I was alright with it - but my own kids were horrified :D

Get one of these DVD and VHS recorder combi's, we got one a few years back, and I think it was £120, they'll have come down in price now. It's good to watch everything back again whilst you're recording it over; oddly enough I backed up all our old video's whilst my girlfriend was here, maybe I don't embarrass as easy.

If you still have a VHS machine, you can connect it to your PC and do your own...easily enough but time consuming,if your PC has Video In/VideoOut on the graphics card,if not a USB dongle can be bought for less than £20,mines by Kworld, works well enough.
