Does anyone know how much info a chip on a chip and pin card can hold...

Also do you know how to programme one? I've had a fantastic idea (all legal and above board) for saving time and money, if I could programme a card with a chip on it, but I have no idea how to do it. HELP PLEASE!!!!! </p>

If you had a chip and pin season ticket...

then you could use it at the football ground to buy all your match day stuff, away tickets, food, programmes, replica kits, use it to come in to reserve matches etc and build up a loyalty bonus! It just depends on how much info can be stored on chip and pin and whether it would be a viable system for clubs to use. It may be that you build up enough 'points' to pay for a season ticket say after 2 or 3 years of using your card and save time and money on printing, ticket allocations etc. Thoughts pls????

They reckon money will be a thing of the past in 20/30 years courtesy of pin and chip, etc. We do seem to be headinig that way.

Surely what would be help on the chip would be your account information... so would only need to be minimal. The other info would be stored by the club on a database not on the card itself.

you swipe your card to enter the ground and use the same card to buy goods inside which is charged to your account.</p>

*btw if you dont have a ST/card,you have to buy credits from a vending machineto buy stuff,you cant spend real money in the ground.....</p>
