Does anyone know how much we paid for Nardiello?

    He was a free transfer.

    That generally means - certainly in the case of 'Bosmans' - that the transfer fee which WOULD HAVE been paid finds its way into the player's pocket.

    players on free transfers can command higher singing on fees. however in lower leagues i doubt it has much effect. really depends if he had other offers. or have i been playing fm06 too much :D

    You're right, of course.

    All I'm doing is speculating - I know nothing about Nardiello's contract, or which other clubs were interested in him.

    i do agree whatever he is being paid the least he could do is stay onside its infurating all the time. as i sed in another thread he could do with a run in the team but why change what aint broke.

    As I understood, Nardiello was in fact released by Man Utd at the end of his contract, due to his age he would have commanded a compensation fee had he moved on a Bosman.
