Nottingham Forest have placed striker Gareth Taylor on the transfer list.

Taylor held talks with Forest boss Gary Megson on Monday and the club have decided to put him up for sale.

Last week's signing of Grant Holt has pushed Taylor further down the pecking order at The City Ground.

Taylor was left out of the side that beat Oldham at the weekend and it appears his future lies elsewhere.

Forest have now circulated Taylor's name to all clubs in the league as he looks to find a new employer.

    Take it from me...

    He's absolutely atrocious.

Forest fans wanted to throw a party at the City Ground to celebrate the fact that he was finally on the transfer list. Can't finish, lazy, doesn't jump for headers, etc etc etc.

One of my best mates a Forest fan, and he says he's useless. I trust his judgment. A post on the League One site honoured the announcement of his transfer list with: "YES! He's going! Hurray!"
