Years ago, I remember seeing the tail end of a film on TV. The closing sequence of the film was a US air force (or maybe Canadian?) transporter plane which had crashed in the desert. All the guys that had been on the plane were living in the wreckage waiting to be rescued.

I remember that the closing sequence of the film was of these guys playing baseball around the wreckage of the plane, and one by one they disappeared. This carried on until there was only one guy left. The twist was that they were all killed in the crash, and they were actually ghosts. They all disappeared as their bodies were found and they were given funerals....all except for the one guy left...whose body was obviously never found. The credits roll and that is the end of the film.

Does anyone recognise this film, and can you tell me what the title might have been?? It's not Flight of the Phoenix. The film I'm talking about was probably made in the 1970s or 1980s. It may have even been a made for TV programme.

    Any info gladly received!

I won't be watching that one then.

Bruce Willis was a ghost in sixth sense as well. In case you haven't seen it yet.

Can you remember - was William Shatner in the one you saw?

There's a TV film from 1970 called "Sole Survivor." Trying to find the other one.
