He pulled out of the deal when he found out that his 4 year old daughter wouldn't be allowed to watch her daddy play for us.

And yes he does actually have a four year old daughter.

Sympathy. The rules are the rules, we should just abide by them and not go running to the papers whenever one of the rules doesnt suit you!

New rules set by Don Rowing.
    1. Tickets are now £6m per game.
    2. Only people called Albert are allowed into Oakwell

Would you still say that rules are rules and we have no right to complain or ask for a change of rules?

Thats just being ridiculous now. The young kid cant go to the game so thats that, let him come back when he is of age or if that isnt good enough they can piss off to hillsbrough in my opinion.

So if this young un kept nagging his dad to take him football and he ended up taking him hillsboro or another of the three clubs who've offered season tickets to this family that's another season ticket lost next season and potentially more in the future.

In case it escapes people the season ticket fan base at oak well fell ten percent last season. It is looking at something similar this season.

Instead of trying to get fans in through the gates the powers that be are more obsessed with keeping them out.

I didnt see any of those 10% crying to the papers though. The reason attendences are going down is the same with everything, people have no spare money these days, alot of folk are living from month to month relying on their pay packets to get through the next month just to survive.

The fact that these10% CHOSE not to renew for whatever reason is unfortunate. We want to buy and are being refused. Your logic is undesciable, i dare let my 3yr old challenge you to a common sense competition. Are you related to Rowing or sleeping with him?

The Don isnt my type. The club has enforced a rule and you should accept that, end of story and move on, instead of attemting to drag the club through the gutter by means of the local press!

I dont take the piss, i give my opinions, whether people on here like that or not i wont hold back on that. I think you should just leave it, the club has made its mind up and dragging this on wont do you or the club any good.

Don't get me wrong, I understand money is tight especially in towns such as Barnsley I cannot understand the clubs stance on this essentially turning down free money.

The fall out from this is going to last a long time regardless of the fact the media was involved.

The fact the club didn't even offer an alternative seat as a compromise just shows the lack of respect the club has for the fans and it's current narrow minded public relates policy.

This health and safety ***** doesn't wash with me given that the kids in the legends suite run around without a care in the world.

We've only heard one side of the story though. We don't know what alternatives/compromises the club offered if any.
