Does anyone on here know roughly how much a week our players are paid

Morecambe fans reckon some of the players on 3k or so a week, i thought that sounded a lot for a div 2 side

 

id say the top earners i.e. Howard 4,000 and people like Coulson around 800 a week but average will be about 2,000

 

a couple of years ago average in champ was about 120k p.a

 

I'd say 2-3k, i think Kozluk is on 7k or summat tho

 

I KNOW some conference players that are on a grand a week,there will be some on more than that but div 2 players wont be on 3 grand a week.

between 0.5k to 6k

average first team player 4k??

AR reckoned some were on 150k a year 2 years ago i.e. 3k a week

that sounds a lot for Morcambe, but.....

....it may be that they have to pay higher wages than a lot of the other clubs due to their location. I know that in the 80s and 90s, Lincoln City always paid some of the highest wages in the bottom league, as it was always quite difficult to attract people to live in Lincolnshire. Having never been there, I can't say whether it's a particularly attractive place or not, so I'm just guessing really.

I think £3k - £4k would be a fair guess considering that

robbiw williams went to Huddersfield for £110,000 per year + bonuses

 

i tohught we had a wage cap of 5k beacuse of being in admin, which was why howard will most likely be leaving in the summer
