And if so on what do they base there opinion giving that we look nothing like a team that plays together?
RE: I don't But I honestly think there are some fools out there who are so blinkered they'll be posting on here telling us not to worry when we're on our way to Hartlepool in August.
Ask me wednesday morning We played as a team against brum and qpr so if we can get it together 4 more times this season (including palace and forest) we have a good chance of survival.
The problem we have had for a while we can raise our game when playing a good side but when we play poorer teams we get dragged down to their level, ie, Charlton, Southampton
I do But I thought we would last time we went down, I was convinced we would stay up, but in the end just stopped playing with any passion and belief, there are similarities again at times this season, butn I believe the players at the club will pull us through this time. Maybe thats why I got this name ????
It's a myth that we do well against the top sides Aside from the Burnley double we have taken FOUR POINTS from the rest of the top ten
Re: Good against good sides? Apart from an excellent double over Burnley ( and we got 3 poxy deflected goals against them) who else at the top have we done well against? Wolves 0 points from 3 Brum 1 point from 6 Reading 0 points from 3 Cardiff 0 points from 6 Sheff U 0 points from 3 Preston 1 point from 6
You Off To Derby Fella? You go quite often so if you aren't planning on making the short journey there, you must think things are bad.
Yes im going mate. Im finding it harder to go to the home games recently. Its like queing up to be smacked in the face going to Oakwell this past few months.
Away games generally are more fun. The atmosphere amongst Barnsley fans is generally way better due to most moaners not willing to travel away to moan.
Yeah it was one I knew we would lose so didn't bother going to. Generally speaking though the fans are alot more behind the players at away games. Should hope for 1,500-2,000 next Saturday.
Disagree myself - whenever I go to away games, the percentage of moaners is still incredibly high, probably just as high as Oakwell if not higher. Even the win at Wednesday there were a lot of people around me whinging for 90 minutes.
Gut reaction at the final whistle was that we were doomed. We're not of course. If we are still in the bottom three after our three games in hand, then that's a different matter.
We will stay up totally convinced we will. we will win at least one game that no one expects us to and stay up, going to be close again tho`.
RE: We will stay up In each of the last three seasons we've won a pivotal away game. Got to be the same again this season. Although we have a terrible record against Coventry, I'm plumping for that one.
