The Rotherham website is hopeful he will choose to stay with them and finish the job he started. I cant see any manager turning down a championship side to stay in league 2. If he did decide to stay at Rotherham that would be the icing on the cake a real kick in the teeth for the club. Plus I would have to quit my job as the piss taking from the Dee Dars and Rotherham fans at work would be unbarable!!!
He did say he was staying earlier in the yorkshire post!!! Not sure tho now they have allowed us to talk to him!!!
Ive wanted him in since we got rid of Davey!!! Reckon he will get us playing gud football again... oh n sneak 3 points every so often!!!
I have to say that if the salary is right then... ... Championship Club, crowds at home between 11k and 20k dependent upon opposition, away anything up to 30k dependent upon opposition, good quality modern stadium, excellent traning facilities, patient owner, on the whole good squad.......compared to nomad club playing on an athletic ground in front of 5k ish on a pudding of a pitch etc etc
If he doesn't choose us then he's either a)lacking in ambition or b) there are other conditions that out weigh the positives which would be very worrying.

The board did say they set the closing date as Friday! They could be talking to a few candidates? Robins must have applied or the 30 or so applicants they have had a crap? Dean
Does everyone think we will / have offered him the job we have to ask permission to even speak to him. I think we are possibly being a bit premature?
I believe it is standard procedure to ask the club to which a manager is contracted also listening to roverum chairman he seemed to think it would be resolved very quickly ie within 24 hrs
Correct, Dave.. WE needed permission from them and it's now up to Robins if he wants to talk to us....
