Does anyone think that the payments from the Premier League

should be distributed a bit more evenly amongst the rest of the football league.

I guess most people do as it is creating a significant imbalance between a lot of clubs.

Does anyone know the reason why they have decided to do it this way?

 

They broke away to form the Premier League so they could keep more money to themselves, agreed that it should be share more evenly, particularly the TV revenue. Should be used to run academies throughout the game.

 

Because the people who make the decisions are the people with the money, and they are **** scared of losing it. So the more money they get and keep hold of, even if relegated the better. **** the rest.

 

I was talking about that the other day actually. One of my mates was saying he thinks div 1 becoming the championship brought lots of extra funds, i was arguing that's mainly due to the premiership payments relegated clubs now receive. It's not fair though, huge imblanaces before the start of the season every year
