having read the HT saga and some of the posts HE MUST legal action my arse he is a nice bloke bloke who had a rant but cant defend
Jeez. Thar as illiterate as the only other user of this forum that doesn't rate CLUB LEGEND Bobby Hassell. Wish we'd sign another Blunt.......
Bloody hell. Asking someone to pick out a mistake that Wiseman has made is like eating a tin of beans, farting and asking someone to tell you which bean caused it. There's that many to choose from it's impossible.
As anybody who read my blog yesterday can testify, I gave Wiseman a 7 for Saturday. His gaffe apart, he performed well, and if he could put in that kind of display, more regularly, against second tier opposition, THEN he would be nearly as good as Hassell was at the same age, and close to Hassell now. I have been a big critic of Wiseman, but I won't, and never have, attacked him for anything other than his displays in a red shirt. Those who attack players for 'other' things, non-football like, are doing so because their arguments don't wesh.
I don't 'rate' him either, nor consider him the legend you think he is, apart from the length of service he has given to the club. He's like Spud Murphy, an average type of player, but not quite this Division's standard. Nor Wiseman for that matter.
Each to their own, pal. But for me, he's definitely been this "division's standard". And he will be remembered as a legend, by myself, and many others. I mean, he was part of our Promotion back to this division, played in the playoff final with an injury, has made many outstanding appearances, including playing in midfield during our FA Cup run, outplaying the likes of Xabi Alonso, Gerrard, Essien etc, and has been a model professional in his 9 years here. Not bad for a freebie from Mansfield. He's getting on a bit now, granted, but as Saturday showed, you can't keep a good man down.
