Seen him a few times now in his last 10 minute appearances because he isn't fit enough to play any longer and he hasn't added anything in any of them other than a dive for a penalty. Surely McCourt or Digby offer a hell of a lot more than an over the hill has-been

The two that came on looked more out of it than any of the players who'd played the full 90 minutes

Won us a dubious penalty v blackburn , but apart from that looks unfit and off the pace

Runs like he's got a chicken lodged up his arse. Not the player he was at the moment, hoping its just rust.

think he can given time but so far he's been woeful, he looks completely lost on a football pitch at the moment. Thought Wood looked quite tidy, but not what we needed today.

A lot more than Brek Shea anyway, he was very vocal when he came on today even if his touches were a bit suspect but I'd put that down to a lack of match fitness.

90+minutes on penalty spot and could have squared it to Lawrence and it would have been 3-2 .proves players need to gell a bit more

His corners are 20 times better than what we've seen from any other Barnsley player for years. Plus his experience won us a penalty. Apart from that, he hasn't looked great, but he hasn't looked ***** either. I'm guessing Danny sees him as a good player and wants to try to get him up to speed as quickly as possible.

Like when Jennings signed the lad needs a run of games... He is proven, and brings experience both on and off the pitch and quality both set plays and building attacks...

Obviously not match fit. But look what a run of games has done for Jennings. Now playing with confidence and flare... We have a few in the side who are returning from injury but have it in there locker to be quality at this level e.g. Pedersen, Frimpong, Shea, hunt and Lawrence... What a difference a few games could make to all of the above. On paper you none barnley fans would think these lads were definite first XI. In reality all unfit and need confidence boost.

Takes a fantastic corner. Needs match fitness.

    Yeah, sure he'll come good.

I think Danny made a poor choice putting him on yesterday.

I think he put him on to add a bit of experience, but he wasn't up to speed. I'd have liked to see RNL or McCourt come on & try & take some pressure off the
defence, by putting Ipswich on the back foot more.

If you allow an away team 23 attempts on goal it is likely you are gonna concede a couple.

    It's not a chicken, it's a golf ball.

He went to the doctor to get it removed but the doctor said "I can't remove it, it's up a fair way"

    Yes

He's an experienced pro who, at the moment, is not up to speed. Once he is, I believe he will play a major part in our battle to survive. The 'right here, right now' attitude is helping to ruin modern football. It's only a matter of weeks since that Dale Jennings was labled a disgrace, this season's Mido and a total waste of money. Now he's being quite rightly lauded for his contributions.
Patience is no longer seen as a virtue with some. In fact, if a player doesn't hit the ground running, they can't wait to be the first to criticise, doing an impersonation of a cross between Elizabeth Bott & Chicken Licken in the process.
