Does Morsy miss the Brum Game?

According to Soccer Base, Morsy received his 5th booking on Saturday. If he does miss Saturday, I presume Watkin comes in on the right and Scowen moves back inside. It does illustrate that we are short on numbers though, something we need to look at in January.

The cut off date is the end of November so he's fine for another 5 cards before end of march

 

We're certainly a central midfield player short. I'm not sure whether Kay is ready just yet, but he does have the potential to make a breakthrough in the next year or so.

It doesn't appear that Bree will be moving into the centre of the park anytime soon either. We've Scowen, Morsy and Hourihane. Moncur isn't a natural replacement for any of them either when he's back.

It's got to be a priority for me in January. Along with a centre half, another area where we look particularly light.

Otherwise I think we've a fairly well balanced squad.
