Does our defence actually exist or is it a figment of Andy Ritchies imagination??

What exactly is the attack doing? How many goals?

 

Are the defence that bad?

They have only conceded 3 goals in three games, which isn't disasterous. The fact is that we don't have a good enough midfield! We have forwards who are capable of scoring but we don't have anybody capable of creating chances for them. By the same token, we don't have a midfield who are capable of protecting the defence in any way.

 

I think that's a lot to do with our poor build up play...lack of decent crosees etc

but we've got Kell to come back...in October when we could be in a relegation scrap by then

It's not just the defence. In my opinion we are a worse team than last season. Maybe Howard and kell will be an improvement but as they're injured they're useless at the mo. Hayes may be a decent laiker, but he's not as good as Chopra.

Neither can I and I doubt if Howard will be playing much earlier than him. By the time they are both match fit it could be too late.

 

I'd give him POTY now , its probs written into his contract.
