Does the club offer half season tickets for the first half the season?

Wouldn't it be a good idea, people can see how we are for the first half and then buy the second half, and if the can't afford the a full season ticket.

i think its a massive mistake that they don't, ive said it before but i'll say it again they should charge £55 in May June & July a total of £165 Then Do the Same offer in September October November, if people don't take up the offer then i don't see what more the club can do to help people out

Wouldn't they have a logistical problem with the vouchers though. They would have to rip the 2nd half of the season vouchers out, what would they then do, stick them back in? Or they would have to spend money getting loads of extra ST's printed up.

It could be done if we introduced electronic season tickets but this in itself is going to cost money and probably isn't high up the clubs priority list.

    Commercial suicide, surely

If fans are able to drop off at the end of the season, 80 % of clubs would lose their income in the second half of the season by virtue of the fact that they weren't performing.

Nothing wrong with putting on offers to entice folks, but the club needs to have a steady income to rely on for the whole season.

Aye, sorry, I wasn't being critical of you.... I just think the club has to work on a season where possible. The half season ticket things are ok, if we're doing well, but could be disastrous in reverse, if you know what I mean.
At the end of it, football is just too expensive. BFC is doing it's best, but people have other priorities and difficult choices.

It would only cost a couple of grand
and if they did, they could also sell the swipe cards at a 10er each, this making the holder of the card a member of the 1912 club, then once they are the proud owner of a swipe card, they can phone the box office and pay for there ticket with there bank card and the club activate the card for the game that they have paid for, or if the card holder wishes they could do it at home on there pc, or even half hour before the game sat in the pub on there smart phone. i'm sure this could be done at a really low cost too

I think you'd be talking 10s or even 100s of grand for such a system. Think about the licence costs, infrastructure, installation, support/maintenance costs, new compatible turnstyles etc. A costly exercise that isnt really justifiable I would think.

I think the idea of splitting the cost is a good one but there would have to be a commitement for the season though I think? The club do have a voucher system already for doing this already (before the season starts though).

All you need is a program for the pc system that the club already have and a website, a few pods to swipe the cards through, something like what the bring to your table when you pay for your meal with a card chip and pin but without the pin or chip for that matter, bloke walks up to turnstyle with his card passes it to the bloke in box he swipes it it says valid he puts his foot on peddle and punter walks in no need for new turnstyles just a pc program and a few card swipers and cards and you'll get a bit of the cost back by charging a 10er for the card
