It's barmy we haven't offered our top scorer a new contract. Andy Gray will be on big money and he's out of contract in the summer, so we can use some of that money we will save to make sure Ricardo stays.
I doubt we could offer him big money. Consequently, he is unlikely to sign anything until he sees what other offers he gets in the summer.
I wouldn't be too quick to criticize.. Not only Vaz Te....but also JOB, no sign of any contract there either..... but do you think Hill doesn't know that, or knows the players he wants to keep? but how can we discuss any deal when we could be sucked into a relegation battle...... If we gave out Championship contracts and were relegated, with next too f*ck all TV money and lower gates, we'ed soon be in the same boat as Darlington and Coventry.... I think once where certain of where we will be playing our football next season, contracts will be offered....... I think when Hill says patience is needed....its not just the on field activity's he means....just a fact of life at BFC nowadays
Re: I wouldn't be too quick to criticize.. They could always include clauses about retracting the contract if we get relegated. Not that difficult!
