I think the east and ponty is just about, if not already sold out. I hope the 2nd half of the west has at least some people in.
RE: if its not a complete sell out then its a **** up nt I wasn't happy with the £25 price, but I don't think not selling out is a **** up. I know its a simplistic view not counting kids prices or pies/programmes etc, but at a rough guess assuming we would sell out at £20:
23000 * £20 = £460000
Then we only need 18400 @ £25 to match it. Anything more than this is extra profit.
23000 * £25 = £575000
22000 * £25 = £550000
21000 * £25 = £525000
20000 * £25 = £500000
19000 * £25 = £475000

RE: if its not a complete sell out then its a **** up nt Its an embarrassment, anyone giving the admission price as a reason for not going is talking /poo They are probably the ones saying that Patrick Cryne should do more etc !! He often has his hands in his pockets, yet some wont give another £2. I do feel sorry for anyone who genuinekly cant afford it though.
Season ticket holders get in for around 13 quid a game so technically have nearly an 100% increase on league prices to go to this game.
Season ticket holders can also go to Oakwell every other week without spending a penny between August and June
I know how much a season ticket is, i ve had one for about 20 years. The match day price is £23, Man U match, £25 Thats £2 extra. Season ticket "ready reckoning" never works for any cup games. What about the games for tenner or fiver recpectively? People who normally pay £23 on the day are saving £13 at these games.
Oakwell should sell out, and as i said, it will be an embarrassment when we dont.

Now that is something to moan about, £50 FFS. At least they get a lot of extra time every week.....
Incorrect To say its only a £2 increase is innacurate. Its £6 increase in the Ponty and £5 in East Lower £4 in East Upper. Me I will be watcing at home on SKY with some beers. The £25 saved will take me out this weekend.
RE: Incorrect I think its too expensive to watch Man U reserves, so I choose to watch it at home for free and spend the £25 elsewhere.
what attitude? His statement of the price increases was based on fact, not opinion or attitude and if you are referring to his attitude of choosing not to spend £25 to watch what he can already watch for no extra cost at home is actually logical isn't it?
RE: Incorrect where your £6 will get you around 2 pints, worth it eh? just don't get that attitude, good job PC can be arsed innit. (doh)
