Lived in Deedar land for 10 years & had to suffer all those flippin heartbreak defeats with Deedars laughing in my face. The one time we turn them over, I'm in flippin Norfolk. :'( Gutted to have missed it. It's not the same ridiculing deedars by text. Just done Morrisons in my Reds shirt - got a few looks (glares) though. Anyway, how did we play, and any good stories? Can't wait for tomorrow - my first match in ages.
My old man is away too, and my uncle and nephew, who would normally have been there. They are in Idaho for a week for a wedding. Glad I decided I couldn't afford it. We played fairly well. Looked very solid and had it not been for the final ball a few times we could have had a few. Bobby cleared off the line late on but other than that they didn't threaten to break us down. All the new players look ok.
Him indoors has chosen to ignore the result .... picked up the Chron & moaned that Beevers was was out for them & Hinds was back after half a century being injured. To be fair he never gives me stick when they beat us, so I have been restrained - his friends however have taken a hammering by text message!!
