Jeez, some people on this board are really doing my head in now. In the past the club has been criticised for announcing that we were going to sign 'box office' players. Now when they have clearly stated they will not announce anything until deals have been signed, sealed and delivered they are still in the wrong. And now we have the absurd notion that Davey is being criticised for actually going on holiday!! A couple of weeks ago the club announced that we had managed to secure the services of Bobby Hassell and Brian Howard, something they had managed to keep quiet for at least two weeks. How do we know that we haven't signed any more players, maybe ones that are out of contract? They wouldn't be able to join us officially until 1st June, so maybe the club are waiting till then to announce things. The simple fact of the matter is WE DO NOT KNOW! I wasn't one of Davey's biggest fans and I am still not 100% convinced by him, but he DID keep us in the Championship and most at this time last year would have accepted a fiffth from bottom finish as being a good season. So lets leave the bitching until things have been confirmed. Rant over
