    A product of the Barnsley academy according to Darren Fletcher on 5 live tonight. It’s a surprise to me but if so can we have him back?

    I don't think he's got that right. I'm not 100% certain, but I seem to recall in an interview he once
    gave on TV, as a Sheffield lad, he started out in the Blades Academy. He was given a contract
    and then went out on loan before joining Everton in 2016. Everton paid something like £1.5 million
    for him.

    I can only assume he’s got him mixed up with Mason Holgate.

    Easy mistake to make. Ones a defender the others a striker.

    Just plain wrong, said Everton had done well out of the Barnsley academy, 2 current and one who used to play for the club. Still at least he didn’t mix us with Burnley
