Who?! Apparent "wonderkid" at Chelsea, has only played 1 senior game for them, on loan at Vitesse (scored 7 in 22) and is demanding 50k a week. English football summed up in one story. What a shame. Sounds like a typical agent filling his head with nonsense.

Unfortunately he'll probably get it too. Obscenity in football has no limits.

What do you do. The prize money in football is obscene. The sponsorship is obscene.

It is a basic economic model that will always dictate that the smallest minority at the top of the pile will earn a lot, until demand drops.

It's just as obscene as those lucky ****ers who win £50m on the lottery. And the chances of being a professional footballer at the real top end of the earning pile for anywhere over 5 years aren't too dissimilar in comparison.

Still, the lucky little ******* who was born with more talent than me will probably get it....!

Read what Juan Mata came out with yesterday, at least theres one footballer with his head still screwed on and actually one of the ones who deserves (in context with todays games) what he earns.

You can blame these young players but the blame mainly lies with these big, rich clubs, particularly Chelsea, buying all the top talent and loaning them out for season on end only to release them. They buy anyone with any sort of talent and so they all think because they play for big, rich Chelsea that they're worth big bucks.
