I'm sure this has been mentioned in one of yesterday's posts, but I can't see one where the post title gives it away so:

what a truly disappointing performance that was, and in such contrast from how capable I thought he looked on Saturday. The right winger for them ran him ragged all night, and principally because he simply would not stay tight to him, there was always ten yards at least between the two when a ball came over, and I was also annoyed that after a match full of this Simon Davey couldn't get a message to his full back to stay tighter.

thought we should definately sign that Souza though, looked as good as Paul Reid at least, a good man to have in the squad.

Didn't see him on Saturday, but heard good comments from both Barnsley and Rotherham fans.

Last night, didn't look too comfortable at the back. The RW for Wigan had a field day, and got past quiet easily at times. Going forward though he looked like he can put a good ball into the box, which could be a threat with the strikers.

Out of all the new signings the one that I haven't been too impressed with is Werling.
On sat and again last night he looked very poor at defending.
Going forward he looked pretty decent and on sat linked up well with Ricketts going forward.
But last night he gave there winger far too much space and was run ragged.
I know its early days but I have my doubts about him being upto Championship standard, and we don't have another out and out left back at the club.

    No he isn't

    Predominantly right back

Only rarely played at left back.

Kozluk didn't play a game at LB for Sheff Utd last year, his prefered position is RB!

    RE: No he isn't

Thought he had done his fair share on both sides for Blunts.

    No

Might have filled in when no other cover was available dont think he ever started on the left.

THats not to say we wont play him there but I doubt he's plan A for LB. Maybe we are inb for another LB with werling as cover for LB/left wing?

Early days though and Werling could yet make the position his own.
