    Didn't want to give away too much re fee but indicated he'd signed the Vaz Te paperwork and when pushed, confirmed it was a substantial 6 figure fee that they are happy with.

    Dawson & Golbourne in - Golbourne available for Watford Saturday, Dawson maybe the week after.

    May use the loan market moving forward but no further business today.

    I work with a West Ham fan and the rumour from them is £700k.

    If that is the fee then I think it's good business.

    not at all, fed up. We sell our best players every transfer window for **** all, if we had a proper chairman he would demand alot more money. i have to travel 100 miles each way to the match and as a stakeholder of the club as i pay to get in names like golbourne, dawson, wiseman, done, mcnulty dont excite me at all, this is reason average attendance has plummeted in last 3-4 season.

    Why would Dawson not be available on Saturday?

    Never heard of a player signed on Tuesday not be available for a Saturday game when the transfer takes place between two English clubs.

    Blimey, if we've got anything like that amount I'd be amazed. Plus it's only really good business if it's all handed back to Keef (after all he's created it) so he can bring in three or four more unpolished gems to strengthen the squad. Just under four hours to go Keef, get it spent lad!

    I think if its any less than a million we have had our pants down yet again. Wes Morgan went for £1m and he is out of contract in the summer.

    Should have rejected all bids and let him walk in the summer, his goals are worth more than any six figure sum. I remember what The Don considers "substantial" when he flogged Shackell.

    Agreed. Yet we let Shackell go for less with contract left to run. We'll never move forward if we keep letting clubs steam-roller us in negotiations.
