Don Rowing abuse I feel I need to 'vent' before I combust, the last 24 hours have been ridiculous, I know that Rowing and the board leave alot to be desired but can we at least lay off for 2 minutes!!? It seems that every tiny thing is being picked up on, blown out of all proportion then being layer squarely at Dons door! The majority of fans wanted O'driscoll, for once he listened, and moved for him, for whatever reason (we won't know fully what was discussed) he choose not to take the job....Rowing gets a tirade if abuse Megson is in the shortlist as is Blackwell yet he seemingly has listened to the fans again and steered away from them and made a move for Butcher, which if I'm honest came from fans aswell, now Doncaster are interested and yet again he's getting untold grief before anything is even discussed!! The player situation...he stated the other day that Davies and wiseman situation and also added no more would be leaving untill a new man was in yet...low and behold Afew RUMOURS surface and people are clamouring for his blood again!! Jesus!! Stop with the witch hunt if anyone is making our club a "laughing stock" it's our own so called 'fans' Sorry to rant but I was beginning to go blind with fury! Give the man a break let him go about his business, he might not have been great but at least at this moment in time he is trying and all the negativity does nothing for anyone
Donny have not made an approach for Butcher according to Radio Sheff who've been with John Ryan most of the afternoon and held their footy phone in there. Thank god because that would be embarrassing, losing out to the footballing hotbed that is Doncaster.
i agree too, lets see who don delivers. whilst don has made mistakes over the years he has kept us in the black. Lets give him a chance.

Why is it embarrassing? We are not massive as some like to think, pretty similar to Donny. No one can deny that. Slightly higher attendances yes, that doesn't make us Wednesday fans like they are to us. If he chooses Donny over us I can understand why. Don't let the fact that we nicked that greedy **** off them make us think we are far superior. Cos we are not.
i dont want blackwell, but lets face it. He didnt have a chance at leeds cos they were selling all their players prior to admin. Then he did well with sheff utd as he got them in the playoffs. He has championship experience. Lets be realistic. This season our aim is to stay up no matter what style of football. My choice would be megson. But blackwell would be better than flicker or redders.

If Donny do go in for Butcher then I'd be amazed if he picked us. They are top of League 1 looking good for promotion with a successful millionaire businessman heading a board of directors with a fair bit of financial clout. We are rock bottom of the Championship with an ill owner who has a court case pending and a board of 'directors' consisting of two. That's not having a swipe at anyone at BFC, just the facts as they look to an outsider like Butcher. Bit of a no brainer really. If Donny have moved for Butcher then we'd better move onto the next name on the list.

blackwell would be about my tenth choice, but he'd be above flicker and redders cos they have no experience mate
Blackwell should never ever even get near to managing us for his horrible attitude towards us and Iain Hume following the Morgan incident.
