I had always wondered how a civilised (by most standards) nation like Germany managed to bring Adolf Hitler to power. Is Trump repeating history? Have we become so tv celebrity focussed that we are unable to see the consequences of someone like this actually having power? Is politics becoming another virtual reality play station game? Will the Americans not wake up, please?
The way i heard it was, he wants to stop Muslims from entering America that are non resident. Being as the current threat comes from (so called) Muslims he may have a valid point, as long as the resident Muslims are left to carry on normally. Just a thought for debate, i don't share these views and have no answers to the current terrorist situation, so please don't resort to personal insults.

the answer to every single public & high school massacre in that country, has been to arm more people. every single one non-muslim. the first muslim-related incident and they want to ban an entire race from entering their country....and arm people up more. the man is a fcukin maniac, and he might just get in.
But he wants all Muslims already in the USA to wear badges showing they are Muslim !! Just like Hitler had the Jews wearing them !!

The other Republican candidates have come out against his latest statement about banning entry to Muslims. He is unhinged but it’s feeding into the far-right, Fox News mantra. Even my Republican-supporting sister in law thinks he’s too far out, which for her says something! The issue though is that if he does get the nomination then people like her will end up voting for him as President because they really don’t like Hilary Clinton. However, his comments will rally all Hispanics, muslims and other minorities to vote for the Democrats. I’m hoping that Bernie Sanders will get the Democrat nomination because whoever is up against Trump would win.
