    On Ryan's views

    Donny lost to a non-league club in the LDV. To Swindon, Hartlepool and Walsall (all relegated) Yeovil completed the double over them and finished 15th, and Blackpool (19th and Rotherham (20th) beat them. Therefore using Mr Ryan's opinion, Doncaster exceeded expectations, and really should have finished in the bottom third.

    Once again: Doncaster Rovers are an irrelevance.

    It makes me cringe when I hear us singing songs about them. It doesn't happen all that often, but when it does, I can never understand it.

    Ultimately, the only thing they care about is beating Barnsley. Fair play to them - if that's the scale of their ambitions, who am I to judge? Let them enjoy their small victories. They won the battles, but the Reds look as though they might yet win the war.
