slag Davey and the team off as much as you want but we've had League One attendances all season and today spelled it out: cannot be bothered.

where did I say it was? You dont like hearing it but the truth is we've a team that's just got to the semi final of the FA Cup and a set of fans who can't be bothered to turn up for our second biggest home league game of the season. Our support is League 1 standards, face facts.

The people of this town do not deserve a Championship club.

Why should the fans come and be bothered, when the players don't even turn up for the local derbies?

    more like skint mate

a lot of people have just shelled out a lot of money to go to wembley - just unfortunate that this game dropped right after that. Not everyone can afford to do both pal.

maybe a lot of people have lost interest after some of the ***** that has been served up over the last few years.

Only lately have we been getting some success but all the hard work could be undone by Daveys failure to produce results in the league. We have dropped like a stone ever since christmas when the team was ripped apart with all the loanees disappearing. When we finally got them back the impotus had been lost and we struggled to get going again. We started playing better then DaSilva getting injured has really fecked things up. We miss him badly. What is worse though is the striker situation. Seeing Davey persist with ODJ could be our downfall. Ok hes starting to improve but that should have been done in the reserves or on loan - not at our expense. Not playing the likes of KC has been a bad bad decision.

Im not having that mate. Two seasons ago was a promotion season and we played some good, attacking football. This season and last weve been in a division higher and playing against bigger, wealthier clubs. We did well to stay up last season and this season will be no different if we manage it.

If our fairweather fans had a bit more backbone then the extra revenue would doubtlessly help push us in the right direction. On these gates were always going to struggle.

Pikey Rovers crowds are crap considering...

1 Their expectation level at the start of the season was through the roof
2 they've been around the promo places most of the season
3 their average gate is a little over 7000 (I believe ours is around 11000)
4 the size, population of the Town in comparison with Towns like ours.

Also. don't forget the newness/novelty of playing at their highest level fo 50+ years hasn't worn off YET..
Watch this space if they fail to get promoted this season.
