I had the pleasure of spending the day yesterday with John Ryan, showed us round the new stadium (nice, but in the middle of nowhere) and back to Belle Vue for a Testimonial for Brian Makepeace (various fans' XI's had paid £50 a head to play against a Legends XI, money to charity.)</p> Ryan absolutely terrific guy - unbelievably passionate about his club and the progress they're making. Real feelgood factor there & I'd put good money on them getting promoted this time. </p>
