Bristol Rovers have sold 38K for Final in Cardiff; Donny have sold 17,000 - 18k. My mate who supports Bristol City reckons there's a fair contingent of City fans going in the Donny end just to oppose Rovers..... (could there be another reason?!)
Funnily enough...... Check out the donny website (Yaurs.co . uk) ..... they're all talking about the caravans they've booked!!
RE: Funnily enough...... To be fair.... in my opinion that ain't a bad turnout, especially when you consider we only sold 20,500 for the play offs
Biggest day in their history Height of their popularity, and don't forget "DESTINATION CHAMPIONSHIP". It'll also be worth another star on their shirt. Still can't beat the 19k we took to Liverpool - 3 sides of Anfield on a foggy January night. I used to wish Donny well in these games, but for me their fans have got way too big for their boots. I hope they lose.
RE: Biggest day in their history I used to wish Donny well too! Went to see them in Conference playoff final. But now they reckon they're big time. Way too big for there boots! When the fans were after Penny to be sacked and slagging him off, that did it for me! The fans were saying if it wasn't for Penny we'd be top of the table!! Absolute pricks. I'd say thats a lot of them, most that just jumped on their wagon over last few seasons!
They're our rivals.... end of!..... I just think we shouldn't get smug over what they're taking to Cardiff. In my opinion i thought our turnout was bloody poor!
Didn't there horse toothed chairman say they'd be taking 30k down to Cardiff?? His estimation of there fan base is a little lower than he thinks or is it?? Must be why they only built a 15k capacity stadium!! Bale of hay for Mr Ryan.
