Don't know anything about the young lad really. But it's helping raise money for a very worthy cause, so I can't see a problem.
Why? It's a great initiative for a fantastic cause. Hopefully you and your family will never need the services of a hospice. Hang your head.
There's no problem. I just find it pathetic that a young lad is registered with a football club based on him being in a manufactured pop band. Yes, this game is good for the charity, but the reason they registered him was an attempt to get more fans through the gates, and fans buying their replica shirts with his name on. Greed, basically. Cashing in on summat. It'd be like us giving Katherine Kelly a squad number hoping Corrie fans buy shirts with her name on. Or maybe I'm a cynical basterd. It's likely I am. Last time I saw him 'play' football, Gabby Agbonlahor tackled him no harder than Kevin Donovan tackled anybody in his BFC career. And the little poof went down in agony, screaming like a banshee, then threw up on the touchline. There'll be a few Rovrum reserves fancying making a name for themselves today...
Good on them all. He's in the biggest money making group in the world so fairplay to them milking it for a good cause knowing full well many in the crowd won't even like football and are there to see their idol. I hope plenty pay on the day as it would be funny if they get near to what the first team get crowd wise on average.
I think you're putting that forward as a bad idea but it's got my attention. If it were just down to me then I'd definitely give her one. Er . . .
