For me highlighted exactly where we're going wrong.

They had FOUR men in the box AND the scorer standing in the D.

When did we last have so many men forrard? Ever?

    Donny's second goal

    Must have been a fluke.
The first shot that Mulli had nearly hit the half way line. :pff

    Colgan's fault

Could have come and caught the initial cross easily.

    RE: Colgan's fault

Well he got blamed for somebody else getting sent off earlier in season - it's only a matter of time before someone comes up with a reason why he was to blame for Austin and Kay getting sent off!

    RE: Colgan's fault

As soon as that cross went in, for me it was clearly 100% the goalkeeper's ball. The ball hung in the air for what seemed like an age... him not coming for balls like that doesn't help the defence does it? Feel free to disagree mate, it's all about opinions.

Hey look... I think that Colgan has been a lot better in recent weeks and I've said so on air and on here... that doesn't mean I'll never blame him for a goal ever again. I also blamed Flinders for Burnley's first goal on Tuesday. When I'm commenting on such issues, I don't have favourites and just tell it like I see it.

    i agree

he was stuck to his line. the back four were equally as culpable for what happened afterwards but colgan could have avoided the whole situation by commanding his area.

    RE: i agree

    Thank you!

I don't have ANYTHING aganist ANY of our players, so if I apportion blame to any of them, or say one or more of them aren't good enough in my opinion, it's just the way I see it.

I wasn't going to mention it on here until I read the post about the goal.

    He can't win can he

Gets slated for staying on his line, gets slated for coming off his line.

Hold on a minute, the guy who scored was in the "D" so shouldn't it have been a defender closing him down?

    Yes...

But that wouldn't have mattered if the cross had been caught as it should have been.

For fooks sake Rich, we're not singling people out, just stating our opinion! I've nowt against Colgan, or anyone else.

Erm... yes but if the keeper had come out and called for it, he'd have got there easily.

It also wouldn't have mattered had Austin stopped the guy putting the cross in to start with....or if we hadn't lost possession so easily at the other end.

Thats my point - that people find something to point the finger at Colgan with

    ALL of their faults

austin should have cut it out to start with, colgan had to come off his line, reid's header was woeful and the marking up was non existent.
