    Sometimes they deserve what they get.

    IMHO any bloke who had consistently beaten up a woman for years deserves to get a seeing to from her brother.

    I don't think there's many who would disagree with that sentiment.

    The law however, is a different animal & usually sees things in black & white.

    Told charge had been reduced to s20 gbh yesdi so pleaded guilty.

    Hoping as 1st offence, in work, in steady relationship and had 4 good references judge may take mitigating circumstances into account and 50:50 custodial or fine etc

    I suppose one end of the scale is he lashed out, in a moment of madness,with what he had in his hand and the other is breaking the bottle before using it, particularly if he set out to find the bloke.</p>

    been told 9-18months max if custodial now so everyone has their fingers crossed
