    Auld story but it is embarrassing along with the 2-2 draw we had with Stationary Stores on a tour in 72. I remember getting slagged over it at work by the Dees.

    That's actually a great read and credit Ian with a sense of humour and some schadenfreude. The Nigerians seemed to want a visiting team to thrash their teams and dwelt on that failure rather than their own success. Odd. Ian sent me a great film about what Dundee United went on to do, perhaps this makes it even more remarkable. I started watching Barnsley in 1972 and don't think our 1972 team would have done any better against onugo rangers. Iley out.
