the second half was as bad a performance i have seen from barnsley this season. macken should give way to rigters, and we are desperate for a creative midfielder, if anyone disagrees tell me how many saves lonerghan made, answer is 1

why yawn, a game there for the taking and we sat back again

fans can't have an opinion then , no one in midfield knew where hte **** they were supposed to be playing, so we decided to let chaplow have all the time and space he needed to run the game

Yawn because your argument doesn't stand up at all - they created absolutely nothing apart from a freekick that was never a foul. We didn't sit back, they pressed us because they're a decent, hardworking side. But they created beggar all.

This exactly why Davey should go, never has a plan B. Any team that comes with 4 6footers in defence and is organised will have a stroll in the park and who wouldn't like somebody like Parkin up front, be honest.

Shots on target (we had 4) dont tell half the story. I thought we were the best side in the first half and it changed when Kozluk started struggling and we had to mess around with what looked a solid unit. Hassell was playing well in midfield and Koz was doing well at LB. Preston didn't create anything, we created plenty but just didn't get the final shots on target, although a couple were blocked. I thought we deserved the 3pts today. They were only gonna score from a setpiece, and it was a great free kick (even thought it wasn't a free kick). That lad had delivered a few dangerous looking balls earlier too. Ref lost the plot in the 2nd half. We should have had a penalty, either Moore or Rigters. Kind of felt robbed of the points, but we struggle to kill games off.

We took the lead with a well taken goal

From that point on, it is up to the OPPOSITION to do something constructive.

Preston created NOTHING - until the referee intervened.
