Blame Ritchie, he's the one who's put an 18 year old lad into the lions den. I can't believe Ritchie for taking a kid on loan in such an important position, ehy not play not safe with an old head - it's brain dead - I just can't see what the **** possesed him to do it - after all, how many non-kamikaze young foreign keepers can you think of?? nuff said!! Parting shot - if we get relegated by 2 points at the end of the season, to know we could have stayed up by AR making a really simple management decision will hack me off much more than I am tonight!!
Why don't you believe the Chairman? You either believe Ritchie or Shepherd and Cryne. Both parties are saying differently. Don't slate people just because they don't agree with you - it is obvious from your postings that you believe Ritchie. Fine, that's just your view. I believe Shepherd and Cryne but that's just my view.
RE: Why don't you believe the Chairman? Mr Shepard has maintained all along that there is money avaliable for signings. He said it last season but Ritchie said he had all the playing staff he needed. I'm with Gordon on this one.
Heh heh. "Hey Andy, would you like some money to strengthen your squad?"</p> "No, it's alright Gordon, I've taken leave of my senses."</p>
RE: Heh heh. That's how it happens. "Here's some cash. Go and buy a new player or two." "No thanks Gordon. We'll cope. I'll bet my job on it."
There might be money available that money being enough to sign who AR might want is another matter. The Chairman telling supporters we have money to spend but AR REFUSES to spend it undermines AR imho. AR should not just sign ANYONE for the sake of it. But then again, he's the expendable one. And I wasn't slating anyone.
It was the forwards who cost us the game yestdi.. The countless number of quality crosses Devaney put over yesterday, & our 2 forwards don't even look to attack the ball. Richards just stands there waiting for the ball to come to him. The mistake by Vito should have just been a consolation goal for them.
there IS money to spend... i know from a very good source, but you'll just have to take my word for it, sorry!
more than enough i'm led to believe to have heard some of the names that have been suggested to AR as permanant signings, I can't see how obtaining a couple of experienced heads on loan would be difficult
RE: It was the forwards who cost us the game yestdi.. Richards ran his blood to water again yesterday. He was battered from start to finish by their two central defenders. Got no protection from a referee and two assistants who should be made to forfeit their match fees, they were so bad. Got no support in where it hurts, from his so called strike partner. I don't know what Ritchie's formation was supposed to be yesterday but from where I was sitting, it was 4 - 5 - 1.
RE: It was the forwards who cost us the game yestdi.. They ALL want to wait for the ball to come to them, everyone seems to think the defender in front will miss it,nobody comes in from right at the back for the overhit crosses or follows up closeley in case the keeper cocks up.Regarding the crosses into the box thats all they are balls hit into danger areas ( in open play nobody seems to look up to pick a player out from set pieces they do look but the delivery seems to get worse ie straight down the keepers throat or to an opposing player)nobody seems to attack the balls into the box with any conviction.
Point is Ritchie spends months looking for an 'experienced keeper' to put pressure on Colgan then signs an untried 19yo kid with no experience. That's Ritchies judgement that the kid is ready for championship football. He clearly isn't with 2 howlers in 2 games, both of which were the winning goal.
Do you care to name an "experienced keeper" who will gladly sit on a bench? The fact is.... Vito Fecked up big time. twice now! Supposed to already be capable at this level according to "arsenal".... I would pay for his train ticket back.... The only think I would suggest, is that Letheren looked more comfortable than vimto in the warm up....
