Barnsley have handed a trial to Lee Grant. Tykes boss Andy Ritchie will take a look at the former Aston Villa man, who is a free agent. The defender was released by the Villans in the summer, and has yet to find a new club. Grant started his career with York, before moving to Villa where he never truly made the breakthrough.
