BARNSLEY manager Simon Davey will be able to wheel and deal in the transfer market this summer with players set to arrive and depart Oakwell, according to owner Patrick Cryne. Speaking to the Sheffield Star, Mr Cryne revealed: "We'll focus on a striker and maybe a natural left winger. You should expect to see changes less radical than the previous year. "We will need to make some changes because each year you have to reassess your position for recruitment. So we would expect the club to bring in key players in key positions, like another striker. Generally I think everyone recognises that we've created a lot of chances and not converted them. The league was so finely balanced this year, it all hinged on converting opportunities. So we were a little disappointed in that regard. Our strikers came good in the key cup games. The statistics on hitting the woodwork were quite impressive. That can be the margin on which games rest. "And those players who haven't made the breakthrough, we'll be looking to move some of those on."
