SWINDON HELD BY BIDEFORD SWINDON Town were held to a 1-1 draw at Bideford last night as the Robins struggled to break down the resilient non-league side. Former Barnsley striker Rory Fallon, who will miss the opening day clash at Oakwell through suspension, netted the Robins' goal when he finally broke through the Bideford defence on the hour mark. Fallon was a second half substitute for Swindon after new signings Tony Thorpe and Jamie Cureton started the clash. Bideford, who had been beaten 4-1 by Barnsley on Saturday, leveled shortly after when star striker Ellis Laight leveled for the Devon club.
