but we've signed Tommy Wright from Leicester (on loan at Blackpool).

Scored against us this year and is described as a tall aggressive forward with an eye for goal. Also played for England Under 21's.

 

Yeh, apparently he signed on Christmas Eve.

 

For definate !!!
Looks like he can play at this level with 6 goals in 12 games as Blackie.

Only though is though, that he sounds very much like Marc Richards.

Where does this leave Nads then!?!?!?!

Well, thats odd

cos he came on as sub for Blackpool yesterday. and whilst we're talking about stats, in his 12 games this season, he's had 6 yellows and a red. not seen enough of him to comment like, if its true, even.

His loan period ends on the 31st - and we can only sign him on the 1st Jan - as per the F.A rules.

Why wouldnt blackpool play him - there are paying his wages.

 

I heard it too..

and I expect him to sign.

He was excellent at Oakwell for Blackpool, strong and quick, scored a goal, (cracked Reid's nose with an elbow- not a good thing like, but some aggression at least)

And I think he has 6 goals in 10 league starts this season.

Maybe he was on the bench because of the fact he'd signed for us? Blackpool don't have many options. I expect him to sign and I'd be quite pleased if he did. If nothing else, he'll be of more use to us than Jarman is at the moment.

(PS: I know Jarman might come good- but he's not good enough yet.)
