Murray says If Man Utd are happy with his progress, he's happy for him to stay. pointless, don't need him.

    Of course we need him.
He's got a lot of ability and we will soon have to play a lot of games in a short space of time.

I agree he hasn't started brilliantly but I think the stick he's got is harsh. Probably because he's from Man United. Could be useful for the rest of the season, who knows what injury we'll get?

If we have to have a loan player, i'd prefer it in a position we're weak, like left back

He's not stopping Barnsley getting a left back in on loan.

Not sure why people connected him and Goulbourne a few week ago either.

Send him back and use the money we're wasting on him to find cover for other positions.

If he wasn't good enough for Peterborough, he's certainly not good enough for us!

I am happy for him to stay as cover but also hope that Flicker uses our own players whenever possible.

I've not seen any of this ability yet and whilst we are waiting for him to show some he's a bit of a passenger.

Agree with John - would rather he went back to free up money for a defender. Dawson is fit now and I'd rather he went back into the team. One of this season's best players

    Money, isn't the problem.
Players are choosing not to come and go to other clubs.
I don't think Manchester united will want anything for ryan in terms of wages.

Are you in charge of the clubs loan market budget?

Loan club pays some of the wage - I'd rather we spent money on a defender or two. Keep some back for the summer

We have 3 good defensive midfielders in Perkins, Dawson and Etuhu. Mellis is also a central midfielder and Delap and Bobby can play there too. I don't think we need him. The only other position we have as much cover for us up front. We're lacking wingers and a left back and could perhaps do with more cover at centre half.

If he turns out to be a good player for us from now until the end of the season then fair enough, but I can't see him as worthy of a central midfield spot ahead of arguably our two best players this season, Perkins and Dawson, or the surprise package, Etuhu.

Dawson will be fresh after a few weeks out and if Perkins does need to be rotated out then Etuhu is a ready replacement.

He's not a defensive midfielder though.
He's a similar player to Drinkwater who can get up and down.

Not had a very good start but I thought he was one of the better ones in a bad bunch against City, had a good run on goal, put a couple of decent tackles in and at least attempted to cover on the right when other players went missing , still not sure why he came straight into the side though

Dawson, Perkins (and Etuhu on a good day) get up and down. Particularly Dawson, who isn't scared of shooting either. Tunnicliffe is in competition with the best part of our squad, he shouldn't play when all are fit, that is no slight on him as I am sure he will be a very good player in the future but it hasn't quite clicked with him here. Like I say, cover only for me, but I do think he is worth keeping. I don't reckon it will be costing us much, if anything.
