    Villa keeper heading to Oakwell?

    Various newspapers including the Daily Mail have today said that Reds boss Simon Davey wants to bring experienced Danish goalkeeper Thomas Sorensen to Oakwell on loan to cover for Tony Warner being cup-tied for the Liverpool clash.





    Sorensen joined Villa in 2003 after leaving Sunderland where he clocked up 171 league appearances from 1998. He has made 139 appearances in the league for Villa but has been kept out of the 16 by other keepers Stuart Taylor and Scott Carson.
