Nothing was decided last night. We are two matches into a 46 match marathon. Sure, we lost our way a bit in the first half when Torpey was winning everything in the air and we decided to try and emulate them by lumping everything up to two guys who are simply not equipped to play that type of football. Fact is, once we got that sorted, we played them off the park (actually, I don't recall Torpey winning anything second half so somebody must have been doing something right). Unfortunately we didn't make it count, but how can you legislate for Shuker's miss!!?? And the opposition certainly rode their luck somewhat.

As far as I'm concerned, we are on the right lines. For the most part we are trying to play football and, regardless of what some people say, it is possible to play football and prosper in this division. That's not to say we can't improve or that one or two signings wouldn't be nice. But there's not too much wrong.

i agree. second half we battered them, by playing football. we just have to hope ritchie gets the team to learn the lesson of defending against long ball teams.
also thought vaughan was a lot better than carbon, who i think it may be time to release.
just one question, how did their keeper musslewhite not get the man of the match?
