Haha. There's nobody in da know. Just guess work in the main.

Although I shall be following Keith Hill's Jacket even more slavishly than Dyson did with the real thing.

The bloke's certainly set himself a decent standard now for reporting accurate rumours.

Yep, Nobhead's Coit and Clap Clinic 121 are the men to watch for news.

Interesting. All kinds of conjecture will ensue, but seems to suggest two things: Danny is part of the long term future, Mellon is perceived to be part of the problem, and they have acknowledged we're down. This is future planning

Clap Clinic 1-2-1 - the new agency appointed by Jeremy Hunt to be the new provider of japs eye scraping.

A pubic-private partnership, if you will.

And that, ladies and gentlemen, is a taste of the quality of this BBS from circa 2002.

What we taking from this? Are we guessing that Wilson has gone to the board and said: "Look, if tha wants me to do a proper job then let me employ me own staff. Otherwise we're just pissing in the wind." Or summat to that effect. Maybe not in a Barnsley accent.

A few have commented about the body language between Wilson and Mellon. Can't say I've noticed like. I thought Mellon was a decent bloke and I had no problem when he was kept on, but the manager should be allowed to manage, which includes employing his own staff, and if he didn't want Mellon then fine. If this a step towards stability, sticking with the manager whatever the outcome of this season, then it'll do for me.

Unless I've read it wrong and got it totally ****** up.

Dunno, the timing seems a bit odd - unless the folk Wilson wanted weren't available when he was set on ? I would hope that he's finally said something along the lines you alluded to.

From being the architect of our survival last year to the real reason we struggled this according to some. Such is football.

I thought Melon came across well in the few interviews he's done, but I'll admit to being a sucker for a Scottish accent. Seems like a decent bloke too, but then I'm not working with him. Not that I'm casting aspersions, I just don't know the man well enough to have much of an opinion. If I were Danny Wilson and I had to manage that shower down at Oakwell (admittedly, some who he's brought in himself), I'd want a second in command who I knew would back me up every step of the way and shared my football philosophy. Maybe he didn't think he was getting that from Mellon.

Wilson could do a lot worse than giving Winstanley and Mal Shotton a call, to kick the **** out of them, and an ex player like Eaden to learn the ropes and takeover when Wilson moves on.

'kin 'ell, I've taken a lot out of that official statement and I'm so far ahead of myself I've disappeared over the horizon.

Given how 'flat' we appear I can only assume it wasn't a happy camp - that's not a slur on mellon, that's just how things work out sometimes.

Think Wilson will bring in whoever he trusts. Not his wife like, a footballing type.

If it was his wife I'd buy two season tickets next season. It'd be the most brilliant thing any manager has ever done. She could stand on the touchline in her pinny and clunk the players over the head with her rolling pin when they're ****. In my head, wives are from the 1940s.

I think, and have said it on here before, that Mellon was not working with Wilson or vice versa. This could be causing the confusion that is obviously there.
So it has been decided that Wilson goes it alone for rest of season. We may get a response from players, but we need Ramage , Hunt and McClaughlin in. Digby if fit in middle and Cwyska and Paddy involved at sometime. Nyatanga in middle with Ramage. Drop Mellis couple of games and ship Frimpong out. Dawson in for effort. Like to see Sir Bobby involved if possible Ship Woods and Lawrence out, cancel contracts. Is Pederson fit, if so get him in the mix. Drastic surgery is needed and should have been done after Huddersfield

I think the best way to motivate the players is to get Basil Fawlty in to attack them with a branch of a tree if they are losing at half time.
