Don't understand the comotion about tickets for the next round of the cup

Easy
We have around 10,000 season tickets which i believe are initially guaranteed there seat if wanted and as such will have a period to secure this.
There was an approxiamate barnsley following at the Burnley game of 5100. Even if all these were not season ticket holders that would make a total of 15100. I believe the home alocation in the region of 17,000 so where is the prob or is it all the fans who only come to the Chelsea Man Utd game who are worrying.
With regard to the Burnley game my guess is that out of the 5100 Barnsley fans 4500 would be season ticket holders.

good grief, people need to get a grip if they think there is going to be problems getting tickets for the scum game. IMO, There'll be loads left for anyone who knows we play in red before we get to the proper hangers on.

 

Probably a good chance it will be on SKY anyway. Ferguson v Robins? Man who saved his job and the rest is history. Barnsley beat them in last cup meeting etc etc.

Cue black and white scenes of the pits etc

 

They all want to watch Man Utd!

 

I think its only 50/50 that we'll actually sell out.

a. Its the Carling Cup, not the FA Cup.

b. It's still only the 4th round, not the semi-final.

c. Everyone knows they will play the kids, not the stars.

It will be a top attendance, guaranteed, probably the highest of the season. But sell out - not guaranteed imo.

They will play their 'reserves' but when they include players like Brown, Owen, Anderson, Evans, Neville, O'Shea, Wellbeck etc it won't quite like be Arsenal and the reserves they would stick out.

Since Saturdays cup draw my other halfs asked if I can get tickets for her and her sister whos an armchair Man Utd fan. Also a customer of mine whos a ST holder as been asked by his wife for a ticket. Im expecting my phone to be red hot when the tickets go on sale.

It's called supply and demand - the number of people who want to watch man utd play a one off cup tie will far outweigh the number of people who want to watch barnsley week in week out.

my mate txt me as soon as names were pulled out of the bag to see if i could get tickets!! said no for these reasons...

1. last game he went to was Wembley
2. game befroe that was Play off final at cardiff!
3. before that play off final at wembley
4. Im a steward....not the fecking box office!!!
